Pricing of a 05 Prius w/ Navigation

    we are going to offer a price tommorrow on a 05 w/ package no. 6 with 24,000+ miles on it. What kind of price can I expect to pay for a car in perfect condition in the Midwest from a Dealer? I dont want to get ripped, and I also dont want to think I can get it alot cheaper if I cant. They didnt have a price on it, so I have no idea what they will start it out at. I saw the car Sunday when they were closed.

    Never mind :( , they started at 24,900 and only came down to 23,700? I might be neive, but that seems a little high considering the price of a 2007 isnt that much more.

    Paid $25,500 + TTL for a Black STD with Package #5. $750 below MSRP. It was a cash sale with no Trade in.

    I could have got it slightly cheaper with "carsdirect.com" or phoning more dealers. I'm happy with the price and delighted with the car.

    I was able to get an '04 and '05 both with navigation off of ebay. Both had about 60,000 miles and were in great shape. I got the '04 Jan 2 for 15,900 before tax and fees and the '05 end of Feb. for 12,400. The '05 was from a Porch dealer (trade-in) who didn't know what he had. I did a lot of research and watched ebay auctions for a few months before I won these bids. If you are not mechanically minded and choose to go this route get a pre-purchase inspection before you pay. Also, check the prices on edmonds.com and don't bid over the lowest price in all categories. Hope this helps :rolleyes:

    Well, I did eventually get a car. I found a 2005 with package 4 and 15,000 miles. I felt like I got a very good deal at 18,500. No complaints, and most of all, my wife loves the car.
