Over Memorial Day weekend, the local Tallahassee Toyota dealer was quoting me about $2k over sticker on a Prius II. That wasn't going to work for me. I have shopped around a bit for the last few weeks. I am trying to work on a deal with a dealer that is about 40 miles north of me for a model II with nothing but the window tint added for about $24,500 (+ tax, tag, title, fees, etc). This would be an order --- and it looks like about a month or so to get it. Is this sounding like a proper price? I think the MSRP is $24,734. I'm just not used to paying only a few hundred below MSRP for a vehicle. When I purchased my 4Runner back in 2005 -- sticker was $33k and I only paid $27.5k. I felt like I got a good deal there. This doesn't feel like a good deal this time around, but --- as long as it is on par with what everyone else is seeing --- I'm fine with it.
you're getting a very good price these days. if you want better, you'll have to wait for supply to increase.
Waiting takes too long Just drove up to the dealer to put the down-payment on it a few hours ago. $24,393 was the final price for a base II with window tint.
