power inverter crashed at 66k

    hey guys...my 2010 prius has only 66k and the other day while driving, all the lights came on, quite a freak-out he had, particularly "check hybrid system". Had to towed to the dealer, who tells me the DC power inverter is out, and then have to send for the part. Thankfully it's still under warranty (100k for hybrid system) and so i will not have to pay the supposed 10k it would have cost me if this had happened 34k miles later.

    QUESTION. What should I be aware of in the future regarding this type of Major Issue? Does all of the above info make general sense, about what i've been told?
