This maybe one for Ken and some of the other RHD owners.

I'm looking for IF1 (as described in the Bentley 2004-2008 manual). Do you know if it's on the right hand side of the car or the left? I know in the US model it's on the left hand side, but I have a suspicion that in the RHD market some of the connector positions are switched.

I may of course be going crazy. Is the connector layout the same for both RHD and LHD, minus the obvious differences due to the wheel being on the other side!

    Cheers,
    Nikki

    Hi Ken,

It's the connector underneath the driver's side kick panel in the US model Prius which contains the black fuel pump wire - I am experimenting with automatic fuel cut-off for the PHEV project I'm doing (short distances only) so that I can enable a higher speed EV mode.

    Thanks,

    Nikki.

    Hi Nikki,

I can't answer your query, but it sounds like your experimentation is going well beyond the info available in the Bentley manual. Why not invest in the Toyota Europe techdoc website so that you have access to the electrical wiring diagram for your vehicle and can find the connectors and any other detail you require.

    Hi Nikki,

Japanese 2004 Prius doesn't have the "IF1" connector nor the black fuel pump wire.
Found a red the fuel pump wire on the pin#11 of "LA1" connector.
