Port leather + aftermarket lumbar bag?

I just bought a 2010 Prius III and added the port leather in the deal. It was Christmas eve, so obviously the leather couldn't be added the same day. After a few hours of driving, it's apparent the seats need some help in the lumbar department.

I'm thinking of ordering a couple of those bulb pump air bladders to put behind the covers, but I've got a few questions:
1) are the port installed heated leather seats heated in the back? Or just the bottom cushion? Not sure that inflatable plastic bags and heating elements would play nice.
2) are the port seat covers removable - or at least partially removable so I could put the bladders in later? Not sure the port/Toyota folks would want to put them in for me, since they're non-standard, non- warranty items, etc.
