I can't find anything on the site related to the "News" item on the home page about a PIP range-extender. Guess they went back to the drawing board.

I believe Enginer has been out of business for some time. Website was never updated to reflect this for some reason.

Feel free to call me to discuss this company.
When it previously went out of business, many owners were left with worthless warranties.

There are new players. Similar name. Different company. Uses previous web site.

Would it be better to use PIS for the range extension purpose instead of Enginer?

Enginer is better for "blended mode". Think longer drive on surface streets or 35 mph side roads.
Again, until they prove otherwise, their products have not been as reliable as we needed them to be.
Send me some new products to test Enginer. :)

Not sure how other systems will integrate into PIP so noone specifically notes that as a goal of their systems.

Better to "roll you own" with quality components. Expect to pay $13,000 or more.
