PIP AC Noise at Startup

    My PIP makes a moderately loud buzzing noise, apparently from the compressor upon pressing the start button, in EV mode, and pressing the climate control "auto" button. It goes away, but seems unusual. AC works fine, but was wondering if anyone else has heard this? I don't remember it being so apparent before.

    that does sound odd, i would have it looked at. mine is virtually silent.

    Mine started doing that as well. Going to have it looked at during 20,000 mile service.

    My ac makes a little noise. I wouldn't call it a loud buzzing sound but I definitely wouldn't call it silent.

    i heard mine to this year, now i think it sounds normal. probably just a really high efficiency unit, ice cold.
