This is not a scam...this is a focus group study where you will make up to $550 for a few hours of your time.

You must have an aftermarket PHEV system installed in your Prius and be near LA or SF to qualify.

We at AskSouthernCalifornia (an automotive research firm), are conducting a paid study in Los Angeles and San Francisco, for Prius owners who have purchased an after market conversion kit turning the Prius into a plug-in hybrid. We need your help spreading the word to those Prius owners who have that kit and would be interested in giving us their opinions on their Prius. It pays up to $550 for their time and input and it would really help us out if you could help us help them. If you have any questions about the study itself, we'd be more than happy to answer them for you. Feel free to call us at 714.750.7566. Thank you so much for helping us find Prius conversion owners. Please forward the letter below to the owners or friends or anyone in the LA or San Fran area who might want to participate. Thanks again!

We need your opinion about your Prius Conversion!

Earn up to $550 just for giving us your opinion.

We are asking Prius Conversion owners to tell us about their vehicle – what you like and dislike. Your opinions are vital in helping to develop future alternative fuel vehicles that continue to meet your needs. Your feedback could help change America’s dependence on oil.
We are conducting this research in multiple cities throughout California. We will be in Irvine on August 20, Beverly Hills on August 21-22, San Francisco on August 23-24 and Sunnyvale on August 25. Your participation would involve participating in one or all of the following activities: completing a 60 minute survey at a central location, participating in a 2 hour focus group discussion with 5 other Prius Conversion owners, and/or completing a photo journal at your own convenience.

SPACE IS LIMITED SO IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, CONTACT US NOW!

I'm interested but which number do I call? The 800-664-4275 or the 714-750-4566? I'll call them this afternoon.

All I know is what they sent me (which I posted)...but I would assume the 800 number is to schedule for the event itself and the 714 is their general office number so try the 800 number first.
