Looks pretty small about Yaris size. I wonder how much they are going to sell for.

Wow, that's like saying the Prius gets 89MPG if you convert it from the Japanese roadway test. After looking up the NEDC Urban Drive Cycle I can safely say that the US will get FAR under that. The highest average speed they have in that test is 39MPH. They do go up to 75MPH, but that doesn't mean much since the average speed is nearly half that.

The 307 (the current version) is about the same size as the Prius:

    ................ Prius - 307
    length (in): 175.0 v 165.8
    width (in): 67.9 v 69.2
    height (in): 58.7 v 60.2
    wheelbase (in): 106.3 v 102.7
    luggage capacity (ft^3): 14.4 v 12.0
    Power: 110 hp v 129 hp

I think the 308 should be a little bigger than the 307, as Peugeot make each model bigger at each redesign.

Did you ever have a vehicle with an "average MPH" readout? Unless you are driving crosscountry on the interstate an average MPH of 39 is about right when you take into consideration sitting at stoplights. My commute is 22 miles one way, and about 15 of that is on limited access highway with light traffic so I drive around 70 MPH for 2/3 of the trip. My average speed is usually under 40 MPH.
