Would a defective wireless door receiver trigger the alarm? 2009 Prius Read many of the responses toward a persistent irregular alarm going off. Cleaned the FoB really well. The little led lights only activate when pushing a button. (except when the alarm is activated then the Led is blinking. My only solution has been to remove the fob battery and insert it into the slot to operate the car. I was replacing the driver fender and found a beat up sensor (door unlock receiver???) and wondered if this would trigger the alarm? Thanks for all your interest and help
