Hi everyone. While doing a Prolong hybrid battery reconditioning I decided to take off the intake manifold and clean it. It currently has 87k miles. After getting done with all the maintenance and running the 12-volt battery charger I went to start the car and got a "check hybrid system" warning on the dash. It sounds like I flooded the engine as if one or two cylinders aren't firing. Techstream tells me that I have a p3190 code and no other code. I went to the store and got a new intake manifold gasket set, took apart the intake and was even more careful reinstalling it with the new gasket. It's still giving me a check hybrid system warning.

I'll go out to the car this evening and make sure there is no other fault code. Is there anything else I should check? My car was running perfectly before the maintenance. Any ideas I'd appreciate it? Thanks

When that kind of thing happens to me, I always start by double checking connectors. I once left off the MAF connector and got a code, but don't recall which one.

    +1;).

But I’d also pull the 12 volt battery lead to reset the code(y).

Found it. It was the evap purge solenoid hose to manifold. The lowest hose in the engine compartment I think. My neighbor found it laying on top of the black skid panel. The car runs great now.

Always good when it’s a simple, explainable solution (y).

I have that same problem, where exactly is that hose? 1" or one of the 1/4" ones?

Thanks for the helpful diagram, I checked my hose and it was not blown off.
