P0446 EVAP CODE GEN 2 2004 fixed

    P0446 fixed back one by blue stripe under back of car.

    Front one under air filter was ok.

    Pics attached.

    We dremmeled it off.

    Easy access.. thankful.
    Oem replaced.

    Wow... Being a west coast person all my life means I'm always amazed by how much damage all that winter salt on your roads causes to cars.

    Yeah that's the vent valve real common problem in the rust areas as it's in the back of the car and dragging right there in the snow and the salt anytime the check engine light comes on in my '01 van it's because of that valve is sticking or not working It seems to check engine light in the van doesn't come on for anything but this I am just kidding more or less but it is problematic That's kind of funny actually so I know these valves pretty good I've taken them off other vehicles in the junkyard You can even bust them apart and clean some of them you'll see they just get completely rusted inside the spring sticks and all that and there are aftermarkets that cost $6 and that kind of thing too I don't know if they all work or not Good call and good work.
