some of these states surprise me, but you have to take total cars registered into account

    vehicle-registration

Ohio State game was a squeaker, so if they come around again, Dec 7 may live in infamy.

I guess it's fairly easy to keep your team healthy in December when you play two ranked teams in the regular season.....

Originator of this EVs in Oregon thread has not said it should move to College football. But reality deserves a place in any conversation.

Oregon’s record so far includes 4 ranked teams.

    1. Against Idaho, #8 in FCS Coaches Poll (unranked in other polls). Oregon won 24-14.

    2. Against Boise, #11 in College Football Playoff Rankings, AP Top 25, AFCA Coaches Poll (unranked in FCS). Oregon won 37-34.

    3. Against Oregon State, not ranked in top 25 of any poll. Oregon won 49-14.

    4. Against UCLA, not ranked in top 25 of any poll. Oregon won 34-13.

    5. Against Michigan State, not ranked in top 25 of any poll. Oregon won 31-10.

    6. Against Ohio State, #2 in College Football Playoff Rankings, AP Top 25, AFCA Coaches Poll (unranked in FCS). Oregon won 32-31.

    7. Against Purdue, not ranked in top 25 of any poll. Oregon won 35-0.

    8. Against Illinois, #23 in College Football Playoff Rankings, #22 in AP Top 25, #25 in AFCA Coaches Poll (unranked in FCS). Oregon won 38-9.

    9. Against Michigan, not ranked in top 25 of any poll. Oregon won 38-17.

    10. Against Maryland, not ranked in top 25 of any poll. Oregon won 39-18.

    11. Against Wisconsin, not ranked in top 25 of any poll. Oregon won 16-13.

There are many ranked teams that Oregon has not played yet. All are ranked below Oregon by people who track such things closely. Next opponent Washington on Dec. 1 is not ranked so that won’t resolve the ranking rancor. But Dec. 7 may jostle things.

A less formal ranking might be found in ticket prices. Georgia and Georgia Tech kick off in about 1 hour and price now starts at $4352. Tomorrow, Texas and Texas A&M can be seem for $586. These are high examples; most college football seats are <$100 including Oregon (for now). Navy game is a solid bargain at $3.

Well, as we've seen recently in FHOP_P - 'some polls are more accurate than others.'

    @ Navy
I'll be pulling for Blue next week obviously, and they're having a good year - but Army is having a good tear too.
Jawga did knock off their rivals yesterday - in a 'somewhat extended' game, but it wasn't cheap.

    Apologies to the OP!
If she starts.......um......quacking about it maybe we can kick off a new thread? :D

Georgia was favored 17.5 over Georgia Tech and then did finally win by 2. It was quite a tussle

Whatever a buckeye is......it would appear that wolverines will eat 'em.

Buckeyes are seeds/nuts from the buckeye tree. Native to Ohio.

My mom made a candy called buckeye that looks like the seed. The seed looks like the eye of a male deer -- buck --

The candy is peanut butter surrounded by chocolate.

My undergrad work was at Oregon State -- home to Benny Beaver. Our downstate rivals were University of Oregon ducks. Home to Puddles the duck. Puddles looks a lot like a certain duck in Anaheim.

If you care about PUDDLES, read about the Disney connection:

"Buckeyes are seeds/nuts from the buckeye tree" Toxic when raw but OK after cooking (preppers can also be gatherers).

Family home in S Calif had a buckeye tree or something very similar in the yard. I never suspected when it was cut down that it might have rankled my father who was U. Mich alumnus. So wolverines don't eat buckeyes - they cut them down.

    this is how myths begin.
