Ordering a Curt hitch in Canada couldn't be easier

I picked up the phone Monday and the hitch (p/n 11469) was delivered Tuesday. I couldn't find any Canadian online sources so I went with The Hitch Store which has a distribution centre in Toronto, Ontario. No customs,duties or brokerage fees to deal with which is a big expense and pita. Perfect! The person at the other end of the phone was pleasant and efficient.

Previously, I had called some local shops listed on Curt's website and all of them treated my "price and delivery" question as if it was an inconvenience. Comments such as, "Do you want me look it up in the catalogue?" and "Why don't you get a <insert other brand here>" were typical.

It makes me think that there are two types of businesses in the world; those that know what they're doing and those that don't.
