I got there an hour before closing. They offered me 2K for an '02 Civic EX that's listed for $4700 fair value. I told them I wanted to pay $500 over invoice. They gave me a price $500 more than the cheapest price I was quoted at SF Toyota. They wouldn't budge and told me they don't price match either. That's because they said they could sell it full price the next day, which makes sense. I guess I need to keep shopping around to find something I want in stock for the right price. The dealer in the town next to this dealer offered me $5000 for the trade-in at a similar price for the car, but I have a feeling they're playing games and will end up lowering the trade-in amount some way.
