Will my old scangauge from my 2011 gen3 work on my new 2017 gen4?
other than adjusting the MPH, and wiping the trips, will it work?
    thanks

Check the firmware release number. They will update for a modest fee.

I have an old ScanGauge2 without the Xgauge update and have recently moved it from my previous 2005 to my 2017. I just use it to check rpm and coolant temperature at the moment to get a feel for stage 4 warm up.

My old Scangauge caused the Sonic to have a hissy fit when plugged it; TC and ABS lights on with hard shifting. I contacted Linear Logic, and they said it likely needed a firmware update. They did so for free; I only had to pay for shipping to them. That fixed it. I recommend the Scangauge over other brands because they have great customer support.
