I noticed the passenger side wheel well liner was soaked in oil last night when doing my oil change. Looking around the wheel well and engine bay but there are no leaks and nothing else is dirty, not even the back side of the wheel well liner. Only the bottom side the faces the road. Tire / wheel / all suspension / strut / CV boots / axle / etc are all dry. I took down the liner and the inner fender behind it is also dry. It's looks too "neat" for having ran over something. You would think it would have splashed around more in there but from the pics everything else is dry. It looks like something would have been slowly dripping from the top and soaking in, but there is no way for oil to leak in there and again everything else is dry, even the topside of the wheel well liner. Just the bottom / road facing side is wet
Yeah it is wet and oily to the touch, but like it's soaked in and not fresh / dripping wet. Here is a video I took that shows behind the liner and its all dry as well.
