    Wow .... by the looks of this thread .... us efficiency nerds aren't too thrilled about this sporty car. Let me show a little love to the thread. Lookie what I saw just a couple hours ago;

    That guy tells me it's basically just a BMW with a different company moniker.
    Well, it did draw a lot of people looking at it. Not much to see under the hood, just a giant plastic cowl.
    Put a plug on it? I'd be all over it

    That's too bad, not sure why that's so prevalent. Doubly so on a performance car. You could always pop it off, anyway.

    I used to carpool to a class with a guy with a Supra, mid-eighties, very nice car.

    yep, put it in the coal rollers forum

    my neighbor had a supra in the eighties. he used to spend his weekends with the hood up, drinking beer and staring at the engine.

    My brother saw a yellow one. I've yet to see one in real life. It looks good but the BMW internals worry me from a longevity point of view.

    Luxury models did it for appear, with what the customer should be checking (oil level, washer fluid) highlighted. In this case, it was probably done to hide BMW logos.

    The stories I've seen about the Supra are on the high, sometimes 100%, dealer mark up.

    Concerns expressed by other crowds is whether to trust a Toyota dealer with it, and whether a BMW one will look at it.
