I installed these fog lights purchased from Prius chat store and I must admit, it was way easier than other fog lights I've installed. My past experience tells me that these fog lights aren't very thick so I wanted to modify them with thicker glasses but I couldn't get a hold of any broken fog light housings. So instead I went with lexan from amazon, 1/16 thick and cut out a shape to fit over the shroud. It was thin enough so I used household scissors to cut. I used little bit of clear glue around the edges to hold them in place. I thought the heat would melt the glue or bubble up the lexan but after 2 weeks of testing, it's still going strong. I figure this also helps with the aero dynamics :). If you mess up you can use nail polish remover and glue will clean up nicely.

Clever idea and looks good. Hope it holds up.

I used laminex film on the lenses but after a year and a half, they have yellowed and look pretty crummy. No cracks but not that good of a solution either.

Hmm, I wonder if putting some kind of high temp gasket stuff between the housing and lens might be a good idea to keep crud from building up behind the lexan?

spiderman, i've used laminex on my other vehicle's fog light and had the same result as you. the heat from the fog light makes the plastic go yellow and crummy. the cover is sealed pretty well so unless i get crud that comes behind from the shroud, it should be fairly clean. but then again, we live in OC so the car rarely sees crummy weather so that could be the reason why we don't have crud yet. this is my only temporary solution as i plan to buy the yaris fog lights (since its cheaper) and remove the lens and replace it with thicker lens.
