Finally got around to install my Rulline OCC after a sneak peak under my throttle body. With 161k km on the vehicle there was evidence of oil at the bottom of my air intake. I ought of not pulling the intake at this moment even after I bought my gasket but I installed a new PCV valve. I made my own holder for the OCC and took a few pictures.

    Good on you!

No rattling when the engine fires up and shakes the most? I'd change out those hoses for some heavier wall fuel line hose though.

No rattles, just been proactive. The hoses are the thick ones, there wasn't any of the black ones available. I'll keep a eye on them.

SAE30R7 (or SAE30R6) is the usual fuel line spec. You should be able to buy by the foot at any automotive specialty store. If you cut the orig PCV hose and push on barb (or PEX) splicers at the cuts, you can plumb the whole thing with 3/8” ID. Clamps are not required, actually are detrimental, at barbed connections.

Great Work. I've been debating the best way to run the hoses without fouling up the air box. Ultimately gave it enough slack to stay below the lowest airbox mounting point and ran up in front of the inverter. I'm using the braided hose as well.

    Looks great.

When it's cold the oil and moisture in it looks like blown head gasket.... so don't be alarmed when you check it....
