Has anyone used this and if so is it worth getting. Thinking of it just to get an idea of the battery life.

    Do you mean OBDLink MX+?

I have the OBDLink LX (which is Android only) and it works well for me with all app that I have tried including Dr. Prius, Hybrid Assistant and Torque lite.
