Bought this lovely used car 6 months ago and I love her! Cools down fast in the summer.

Winter heating however, is not doing so well. My old car (1996 Mazda Protégé) heated up in the coldest weather within a mile.

Miss Prius however barely gets there in 3 miles, before she gets lukewarm.

Is there a problem? Or do I just live with it and wear warmer clothing?

    Thankyou

You may wish to have the thermostat tested or replaced.
    amazon.com/Stant-14108-Thermostat-Degrees-Fahrenheit/dp/B000C809F6 $20 with the seal.

You may wish to consider Grill blocking, with pipe insulation.
amazon.com/M-D-Building-Products-50150-Insulation/dp/B011D1381C $42 for more than enough.

Grill blocking is safest if you have a way of measuring the coolant temp. I use a Scanguage 2, but their are cheaper strategies.
