I have always used Nokian Hakkapelitta Snow Tires on my previous cars (three all wheel drive Subarus). I absolutely loved them and felt very confident driving with them. Wondering if anyone has tried these on a Prius and what the result was? I was going to just run the stock tires this winter but as the snow season begins I'm re-considering.....Thanks to all 8) "the weather is here, wish you were beautiful"

John 1701A I think may have had Nokians on his classic Prius. I too have used them in the past. They are in my opinion the best out there. I have no need for them now though as I live in Miami, FL. Let us know if you get them and how they are.

Please, put snow tires on your Prius. If you have traction control and VSC, you will only get the full benefit with 4 good snow tires. For reasons of safety, I strongly encourage ALL people in snowy areas of the country to use snow tires. It absolutely drives me nuts when some jerk is trying to drive through the heavy snowfalls we get here in the Lake Erie snowbelt with semi-bald 'all-season' tires. They are endangering themselves, their passengers and other drivers by not being properly equipped for driving in the snow. :guns:
