My dealership installed a new traction battery in my 08 Prius. Does the front dash need to be disassembled for any reason? There is a noise coming from the dash like some part was not assembled correctly or is broken. I know they pulled it out because they left some evidence (looks like a clear plastic bag hanging out of the corner of passengers side dash close to the smaller window. I'm taking it back this weekend to have the tires and oil changed but wanted to know a little beforehand. Any help would be appreciated.
That "evidence", if a little plastic triangle, is normal. No need to get into the dash as part of the traction battery replacement.
