Yeah. You’re missing an icon in that menu. Was this a factory option or did someone install it on a base Prius. Hmm.

Crap. I thought there was a reset. There's only "delete personal data" within SETUP --> General.

Hmm....a hard reset would be disconnecting the 12V battery, waiting a few minutes (say 5 minutes) then reconnecting it. You'll have to initialise the auto up/down power windows and the moonroof as well as radio presets but it could reset the headunit.

It's really odd that the phone section doesn't exist.

I wonder if the bluetooth module is disconnected. I don't know how it's installed but if it's a module (rather than built in), then maybe the previous owner disconnected it and thus the audio system doesn't recognise it and blanks it out?

It’s funny you say that because I was thinking the same thing because my car has built in sos and only when I start up my car it says that there is and error with sos and to contact the dealer so I’m thinking something happened back there or something was unplugged

I don’t think there is external module for bluetooth, but loose cannector may cause the problem. I would double check the antenna connectors.
Is there bluetooth settings on your HU, where you can see the paired phones - or that’s what you missing?
There maybe an option to disable bluetooth completly.

Navigation is for going to places with addresses entered, not for phone calls.

On my HU there is an option to enable voice call, audio and internet access - these three things can be enabled / disabled separatly.
If you have such option it may worth to check it.

How do you check to see if bluetooth works? Are you able to play music from your phone on the head unit?

Also, what if you press the unhook button on the steering wheel? Does it bring up the phone menu?
