I assume you can't start it or drive it, correct, then I would take the vin number along with your sales papers to your nearest Toyota dealer and expect to spend the better part of $500 for two new keys. Yes there is no slot on the gen 3's, it you have a low battery in your key you can put it next to the power button and it will start. Good luck!

Connecting the dots on two recent threads, I sense the latest dealership scam -- smart cars without keys -- pay the man to replace.

may need to tow the car to the dealership so they can then programme the smart key to the car, worst case scenario in older models, with no working key present you would need to replace all locks and the body control module (approx. $1600 in Australia)

I think that I would contact several locksmiths first.
It is possible to re-program a used fob that you can get from eBay for < $20 if you've got the time to spend.

    Otherwise?
    Yeah.
    It's gonna cost you money.
    Sorry!

If you can find the original dealer who sold the car, they might had kept one of the original "key code" tags. They a Toyota dealer can cut you tow new keys and program new smart keys for you. I know that my dealer kept one of the key code tags for my car.

Expensive, but you'll know that it has been done right.

A car with no keys, I'd place the burden on the car seller if they arranged delivery.

BINGO. And the burden on the delivery agent if the keys were transferred with the car.

Several "Pop a Lock" locksmiths have been able to program used keyfobs. I'd try to find one locally and explain that you have a "all keys lost" situation with a Gen3 Prius.

Wondering if the OP was for real. He didn't say he didn't have the FOB, only that he didn't have a 'key.' Then he mentioned that there was not a 'key slot' in which to insert the 'key,' as if he was looking for a keyed ignition switch.
Either he had no clue about the push button starter and didn't realize it would start as long as he had the FOB (with a good battery) OR he is pulling our leg.

I see that he has not come back after his original post.

A distinction without a difference on these cars, the fob being understood to be the "key" that enables the "start button", so I'm not sure. That the OP appears to have been unable to start the car is the issue.

The "key slot" is a reference to the slot that was in the his older Gen II Prius. That slot is also where the sensor is located if you have a dead battery in the Fob.

And in Gen III Prius that sensor is in the Power Button itself. That's why you touch the fob to the power button when the battery is dead in the smart key fob - it reads the ID tag passively.

Back to the OP, my interpretation is there were no fobs delivered with the car, which means the dealer or the delivery agent should be on the hook. Unless it was winched on, a fob was required to load the car. If it had to be winched on, it's on the dealer; if not, it's on the delivery agent.

I wonder if these cars have been repossessed? Tow truck lifts it up on fork lift and plops it onto flatbed truck. Ever see the title?

I'd start with a TV station that has a consumer fraud segment and wants a scam to publicize.
