First time I filled up my gas tank. I expected to be able to set fuel price in settings-meter customize and Eco settings. But there is no Eco settings and I could not find any option to enter fuel price. WOW! My spouse has that in the Prius C. Can it be that they took this option off in the Prime and why?

I noticed it was missing as well. It is available on the Gen 4 Prius.

It’s possible they want you to focus on the EV portion of the drive and not the gasoline version. Plus, it’s hard to show the true cost if you’re offsetting that gasoline cost with electricity.

Guess they figure that the price of gas varies so much it was pretty useless to have that setting. That's what I thought when I used it just once on my 2013 Prius.

Keep in mind too: the mpg displayed by the Prius are notoriously optimistic; if you want to track mpg and/or expenses, a spreadsheet (or pen and paper, whatever) is better.

And does the data in the car persist if the 12 volt battery's disconnected? It actually might be, I seem to recall some memories are retained now.

Still, arranging deck chairs on the Titanic.

    I'm drifting off-topic, sorry.
