Okay I just bought a 2012 Prius two this weekend and I have never owned one before. My question is what is the best way to maintain it and keep it in great condition? It has about 115,000 miles and I am getting an average 46 mpg...I love it so far, but want to know what I need to do to keep it running great for another 100,000 miles? I know the dealer probably used the cheapest oil to change it so I am going to change it with 5w-30 synthetic and use a injector cleaner, replace the cabin filter and maybe clean the MAF? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks...
Congratulations and welcome. I would say keep an eye out for oil consumption. Change all fluids (engine oil, engine coolant, transmission fluid, inverter coolant). Inspect and clean EGR circuit and intake manifold. Prius is reliable in general - enjoy it!
