My extremely reliable 2007 Prius started throwing the P0A80 code with the red triangle. It was still running fine, but one cell bank had a low voltage, so I decided to replace it. Only 133,000 miles, but the 16.5 years is likely on the upper end of the scale for battery life. Matt at Texas Hybrid Batteries came over and got a Toyota factory new one installed, which should keep me rolling for many more years.

If the mileage doesn't get you the time will. Like I've said before I know a lady that has 495 I think it is on her red generation 2 now original battery as far as everybody knows they bought the car new It's still daily driven.
