Finally did it and bought a 2011 Prius II a couple days ago. I absolutely love it and thanks for the great info on priuschat.

Paid too much at $22,900 but the car pays for itself. I drive 50,000 miles per year and am upgrading from a 99 pathfinder getting 18mpg. My estimated fuel costs dropped thousands and I get to drive a brand new car with warranty.

Thank you Toyota for making an awesome car.

That must be a great feeling. Hey, "Oh what a feeling!" (The old Toyota slogan from the sevendees). Tons of savings and besides the new car with warranty, more safety features and gadgets. Congratulations.

Welcome aboard and enjoy the ride! Read that owner's manual over... lots of good info in there.

Yeah, that's kinda high for a Two. A trip to Toyo Sunnyvale could have landed you a plain Three for $22.7, but ah well, long as your happy that's what counts.

Keep your tires pumped up and check out the 'Hybrid System Indicator' gage. Helping me get better MPGs.

'oh what a feeling' - yep, that's what I was feeling when picking it up. Still am too :)

How is your back adapting to those many hours in the Prius seats? Our new Prius v (with front seats a little wider than those in the regular Prius) is our weekend car now. However my wife does not appreciate the seats for long trips as much as the seats of her Honda Odyssey.

Lots of driving to work appointments all over Northern California.

It's more room then I was use to in my Nissan Pathfinder. I'm 5'11 and always move the drivers seat way back which is limited in a mid-size SUV.
