New Prius scratched; how much would it cost to have it fixed?

Not worth to fix. If estimate around $300. I would get the Prius Performance Package. That will cover it. Performance Plus Package come painted.

 

Ouch! Well that's just surface you can get a microfiber cloth and some good quality rubbing compound. Again, that's only if it's on the surface and not into the clear coat or into the base paint. Can't really tell much from the picture, but it may just be transfer from the curb on the clear coat. And not actually in the finish paint. That would be my first choice is to go ahead and see if you can get a rubbing compound on that and they clean microfiber towel. Would take lots of elbow grease. I've actually been taking care of a lot of scratches on mine. I just got mine About 4 weeks ago. Had quite a few scrapes. Some similar to this.I was very really surprised at how many of them came right out with just some elbow grease and a good rubbing compound. Can't hurt to give it a shot.

 

$100~200. Personally, I'd bite the bullet, get it done professionally.

 

It's so low, most probably won't notice it if you touch up paint. Get some polish and polish it, see if it'll improve

Removing that piece is a bit of a bear; they seem to have gone all out: using every possible fastener type. I've looked at the underside, noticed some approx. 1" dia fasteners with half of them loose, half-broken or missing.

I've never managed to remove it, just leave it be. A body shop would just mask and paint it I'm sure.

If you remove and replace with some faux performance package, you're pretty much guaranteed to scrape it again.
