    Hi Folks,

Definately loving my new Prius but I had to install a few mods that were absolutely killer (IMHO):

    HID - 5000K
    Wood dash trim kit
    Lit door sills
WeatherTech Digital Fit floor mats 1st & 2nd row
FOG lights - Still on the fence, needed? (y/n)

    Pics will be posted soon...

With all of the upgrades and mods, this is feeling more like my Lexus GX470... :D but with MUCH better Mileage and iphone support (BT & USB support ) ...

    Nice list!

I'm almost leaning toward the 2" mirrors to cover the blanks where the fog lights would be.:p

Which dash kit did you go with?

Fogs needed? no. Just mostly appearance (hate the plastic blank) but at the same time, because it's not factory fitted, it means we can use the foglights like actual foglights (i.e. with the parking/taillights on but with the low beams off) in foggy conditions.

    Good point, Tideland,

I'd do the fog lights for the same reasons, but for the cost and the (relative) complexity of installation. I don't have jackstands or a lift, and I'm not nearly as flexible as I used to be....

It's not as hard as it looks and I hated circuitry in Physics class. The DIY instructions here on PC are very helpful and they helped me install the EV mod and DICE units on the old Prius and the fogs and HIDs on the current Prius.

I just used the jack that came with the car. I propped it up on one side, blocked the opposite wheel and wired it up.

    Tideland!!!

Props!!! I think you just SOLD a pair of FOG lights... I was hesistant about doing the FOG lights but using the STANDARD jack on one side at a time is GENIUS!!! I have a HUGE problem with RAMPS as my first and and LAST car ever attempted fell off the stands....

    Thanks for the advice!

lol np. Just a note... you may want to wrap the hook in kitchen towel or a cloth of some sort if you're picky about damaging the, umm, what do you call it... the tool that goes into the eye so that you can rotate it and raise the jack. The black paint is thin and a few rounds will have it show bare metal.

Can't wait to see the picture of the wood dash trim kit and the WeatherTech Digital Fit floor mats 1st & 2nd row.

Only you can make the choice about fog lights but since you asked...I would get them installed if Toyota offered as an accessory for the IV.
