I bet you thought we hit a deer with the New Prius. Nope. We made a deal over the weekend to buy a new Prius three and do the trade-in and exchange today. My wife just called to let me know that a deer ran into the side of the car we are trading in. The price is already negotiated, all we have to do is switch car.s Paperwork is already done......BUT I don't know what this is going to do to the deal. The car is fully covered but this will muddy things I am afraid and the dealer is an hour away. On the up side we are buying a NEW 2013 Prius level three with sunroof for $24950 plus tax & License and minus trade-in. Why a sunroof? The car will be in the HOT sun on workdays and cooling it to outside temp of 105 in the summer will be nice. We cannot leave the windows open at all due to the work neighborhood . Well we dodged a bullet with the deer. Took the trade-in to a car wash to remove the dirt, hair, and deer sweat off the car and there was NO damage! Finished the transaction and drove the car 110 miles home. Tomorrow I'll start reading the manual and this forum to gain knowledge. Bill
