Love the site! Bought a 2010 II in black. My wife bought a 2010 Honda Insight LX (lowest trim). My question that I searched for but cannot find is where is the range that shows how many projected miles are left on the tank of gas? Display shows 43MPG, I baby it but with the AC often at full blast.

NAG. Try using the right toggle wheel for the heads-up display: tap TRIP repeatedly (through Trip A, Trip B, etc.) until the MPG to Empty w/ gas pump logo shows up. Good luck. FYI, I'm getting roughly the same MPG as you are here in SC (lots of A/C, mostly those killer short trips of <10 miles). Not running A/C brings LOTS more MPGs, but I'll wait for cooler weather.

    Good luck!

Yup, as CKK described, it's hidden beneath the TRIP button so cycle through the ODO, Trip A, Trip B and you'll find yourself at the DTE or Range.

Thanks everyone. Makes sense, I analyzed every "DISP" screen and couldn't find it, now I know why.

If anyone has a question to the insight compared to the Prius let me know.

Only pros to an Insight IMO...
It's better looking in the front...
Has it's display on the left vs the center...
Shows you how to drive with the green and blue back lighting...
Feels more like a regular car...
    Cheaper...

    Prius Pros...
    Larger...
    Better MPG...
A/C works well when stopped (Insight when in Eco mode turns the output way down)
    Armrest...
Stereo aux input location is hidden under armrest...
    Two car charger outputs...
    Smartkey...
    Longer Warranty...
    Locking fuel door...
Insight has the standard black steel wheels with covers, Prius looks like it has rims
    15" wheels vs 14...
    Lower drag...
    Overall quicker...
I know the prius has all four AUTO up and down windows, I think it's only the front for insight (I'll check)

NAG, dose your Insight have rear drum brakes or discs?

i considered the insight but i hated it when i looked at it. the cheapest model doesn't even have cruise control. no smart key. 4 speakers. the honda hybrid system isn't as efficient as the toyota system either. but hey, its cheaper.
