New owner introduction and thanks

    Hi Prius Chat. I'm the proud pappa of a brand new 06 Black Prius and I love it. It's the first new car I've ever owned and I'm very happy I waited to get the Prius. I wanted to thank everyone on this board who posts such informational and useful messages. I was a long time lurker before I became an owner. This is my first post.

    I bought my Prius at Longo Toyota in El Monte. The whole experience was great and painless. The car was MSRP with a free Sirius satalite radio intstalled along with a paid Sirius subscription. I waited about 6 weeks for a Black Pkg #3 to arrive.

    Now it's time to get those side door moldings and Coastal EV mod part ordered. I can't wait to get both of them on my new car. Yay!

    I'm in LA, north of downtown, so if there's anyone around who has already installed the EV function...please hit me up with a message, because I'm sure I'll have some questions for you when the time comes to do my install.

    I never had a new car until I was almost 50 years old, and my Prius is my second 'new' car. It's fun!
