    also it is very active, much more so than this subforum, it's actually hard to keep up reading it...

    I did see that the charger will take either a 20A or 40A 240V circuit, but of course we already know that the Leaf has a 3.3KW charger on board, so only the 20A circuit is needed initially. There are rumors that a 6.6KW charger might be in the Leafs produced in 2012, so then the 40A circuit would come into play. also, the charger might be upgradeable on the original Leafs at some cost later. so anyone planning on getting the wiring run, run #8 for a 40A circuit, since the device on the wall will be capable of using up to 35A or so (once the car can accept it, that is)
