Hello all. I am Steve from Central California. My new Prius replaced a 07 Mustang GT 500. Guess what? I am okay with a car that is less noisy, and takes an hour to do 70.
I will be looking for answers. Thank you.

Say goodbye to your friends at the gas station, you won't be seeing them very often.

    steve,

Not an hour, 30 minutes, maybe! lol.

You'll spend more time going < 30 mph, than > 70 mph on LA area freeways!

Enjoy the Hybrid technology, and 50 mpg!

He didn't say whether it took an hour for 70 mph or 70 mpg  :D
Welcome. Enjoy a little different drive.

BTW, have you tried PWR mode? It might be a little closer to what you are used to, but can be a little harder on economy if you have a lead foot.

Well, can't really match the horsepower of a Mustang GT, but for the weight of the Prius, the electric and gas motors in the PWR mode, gets the job done.

I am very pleased with the power. I feared the worst. Here in Central California we dont have much traffic and when you know the area and patterns of highway patrol you can go. My Prius does go.
