Need some ideas for troubleshooting. Hoping to avoid a mechanic since I've been laid off and not driving much. 2010 Prius, 81k, only driving a couple times a week. Found nuts and shells in engine bay as well a chewed cabin filter, chewed underhood insulation so might have rodent damage in engine bay. I replaced the old 12v because it was old and new battery was fine for a while. I can start the car with a booster and sometimes without. Yday, i let out run for 40 minutes. This morning, i had to boost it again and let it run 20m, drove around block. Turned it off and on, almost dead. My dumb as also left the fob in the car all night. The codes I've gotten yday and today are C2300 transmission park actuator fault, B126A remote start ecu comm stop, and B2312 rear passenger door window switch failure. The window works ok from the driver seat. I was getting a park actuator error on the hud with my old battery but now just a code.

You probably need to get the 12v battery tested. You aren't driving it enough to keep it charged. You might want to invest into a battery tender/maintainer device. Have it charge the 12v battery when it's not in use. That should hopefully solve your issues.

But seeing chewed up stuff in your car is also a possibility of rodent damage. but for now, I think it's just your battery causing all your issues.

If your battery test good, check your wiring harness. That rodent may have caused a parasitic battery drain or that rear window switch is arcing - causing that drain.

FWIW, running this car for 40 minutes isn't going to recharge your battery, if it's way too low to begin with. It needs to be placed on a battery charger to get it back up to where it's suppose to be.
