New Adjustments to Toyota Production

Revised October adjustments for Japanese manufacturing:

• RAV4, RAV4 PHV (Prime), and Harrier are no longer out for 2 weeks - they are all at full production.
• Lexus ES, GS, and RX as well as the 4Runner are now out for 10 days
• Of note, the Corolla, Prius and Prius PHV (Prime) are now down for a week from the 8th through the 15th. Presumably to shutdown from lack of parts but might as well turn over to the new generation. Probably around the same time frame when we'll find out more about the new 2023 Prius and Prius Prime.
• The Crown is back to full production as well, although it was only for a couple of Saturdays and single shifts at that as well.

FYI: Toyota's fiscal year runs from April 1st through March 31st. October is within (and start of) their 3rd fiscal quarter.

About the only models that will be affected will be the Crown and the Lexus NX 450h+. Also affects the Corolla Cross, Corolla Touring, and Corolla Sport but those are only bound for Europe since the Corolla Cross Hybrid is being made in Alabama. RX production is affected, however, that is also made in Ontario, Canada.

Crown production will be down for the first week of November which begins on Tuesday, 1st November, through Saturday, 5th November. Another Saturday, 12th November is also down, however, Saturday production is limited to single shifts anyways.

Lexus NX 450h+ is down for the first two Saturdays in November, 5th and 12th. Again Saturdays only have single shifts.

Of note, the Noah and Voxy are down for the first 2 weeks and they share the same parts as the next gen Prius. This could have an affect on the rollout of the new Prius.
