The Toyota web site still lists the lift back at $2000 rebate thru the end of October. The Prius V is $2500. Do you have a link that shows the lift back at $2500?

It's still $2000 here in MA, but I made a deal last night because the sales guy knocked an extra 500 off the drive out price :). Hoping to close the deal by tues the latest. Too exciting!

I see lot of 2016 inventory left with dealers in hundreds. how are they gonna get rid of it ? I am looking for 2016 PRIUS IV model (without ATP and Options package) around 23000 (28600 -2500 Man Reb + Dealer Discount) + taxes and no other fees in NORCAL. is that something I can watch out for in next one or two weeks ?

Right there with you, Keith. The dealer lots here in Oregon are awash in 2016 Priuses and they are not moving. I have contacted multipleops dealerships and told them that I will buy a 2016 Prius 3 Touring when the price drops to between $23-24,000. So far, none of them are willing, but, really, they are going to HAVE TO move those units somehow and it is getting late in the game for them. Seems to me that there stubborness on this is going to leave them in a financial mess with the 2017s arriving.

    $2000 incentive in SoCal
    $2500 in NorCal

Local here in SoCal there's a 2016 Prius 3 Touring lease deal for $169/mo with $2800 at signing plus $1800 Toyota lease cash.

2016 Prius 2 are getting hard to find.

I'm in the eastern part of LA County, and the dealers here are loaded with 2016's. Check out Longo Toyota if you're in SoCal. I bet they will still have plenty of 16's well into Mar/Apr of next year.

I've only seen 5 or 6 new Gen4's on the road. (But I see a million Gen3's blowing by me every day. I thought Prius drivers were conservative, cautious, polite, s-l-o-w drivers?! I'm doing 50 in a 40 zone, and getting passed.)

I would think that with the Gen 4 being pulled off the lots, they will be even greater rebates when they go back out on the lots.

    And today I read this:

"Toyota Motor Co.'s sales rose 1.5 percent to 197,260. The company's car sales were down 9 percent. Sales of the hybrid Prius fell 23 percent, a victim of low gas prices. But SUV and truck sales were up 13 percent." Associated Press

Let's go, Toyota. Do you want to move those 2016s or not? You really need to move that incentive up to at least $3,000. Plenty of us out here waiting on better prices and you are going to HAVE TO offer them. So, why not do it now?

I'm not sure, but I was quoted 20,400 for a Eco from one dealer and 20,675 for a Two from another dealer...

Because of the stop sale for the recall, It's putting my search on hold... I guess I had waited to long to buy!

Hopefully they can resolve this quickly, and they'll be better pricing on the 2016 when they can sell them again.

a lot of pent up demand... i can only imagine the factory's are shuttered until the fix is in. could be a shortage for quite awhile. i wonder if this is some sort of plot by toyota to try and increase demand and price?
