I love my 2014 PiP, but we’re coming up on 2019 and I want to update my nav system. I understand that this is done via a usb drive. Does anyone know how to get one of these outside of a Toyota dealer? (And please don’t tell me how great an add-on Garmin or such is; I’m happy with what I have. I just want it updated.) Thanks!
sorry, no. you gots to pay the piper. i love mine as well, and am grateful we don't have room for new roads.
Suggestion: Pick a recent road/highway change in your area and request a guarantee that the update will include the change. I had an update done a few months ago, and it excluded a new parallel bridge in my area that had been already opened, so when I cross now, my map shows my car "in the river" 50 yards to the north of the old bridge!
Since you list your location as Tarrytown, it's pretty easy to figure out that you're talking about the Tappan Zee
