I’ve got 260k miles on my 2012 V. Blew head gasket. Replaced engine then blew that engine up. Covered by warranty on replacement engine. The dealership took forever to replace the engine and she sat there for almost a month. Go to pick up car and hybrid warning light is on. Wasn’t there before. Service dept. says it’s resistance in transaxle. 3500 to replace, but warned will probably need to replace batteries soon after. Should I fix her or cut bait and buy new car.

    welcome!

cut bait, dealer service is sketchy and expensive.

it is more likely you just need a new hybrid battery, but hard to know without codes. old batteries tend to die when left sitting

Texas is a pretty big location, but if you're DFW check with Matt @texashybridbatteries before you bail. At least you'd get an honest assessment of what the problem is.
