Hey everyone, Im used to using my tom tom for the past two years. I know the tom tom one XL can be customized and you can download company POIs like say Target, Toys R Us and Walmart for all of USA. Is there a feature like that for the GenIII Nav?
The software is most definetly upgradable. Elsewhere, it is recommended that it is a waste of money to purchase new software (pricey) more frequently than every two years. I have used the NAV system in my G3 for over a year now. And while I have serious faults with the software, I have grown to like the hardware. It required several readings of the manual.
