There's a pretty large group of active prius chatters from up your way. I think that they've gotten together before. I don't see a national meet happening, country's just too big and who wouldn't wanna bring their car to such an event?

A National Prius meeting sounds like a great idea. Or perhaps a National Hybrid meeting. Either way it would be interesting, particuarly if it focused on the technology, and not the politics.

Thanks, for pointing out Hybridfest, CinciPrius

    bernzx,
For now Hybridfest will be your best bet for a National Hybrid Meet.
This PriusChat thread has more details.

We have other people coming from your neck of the woods. It's a long drive and would take a few days if you plan on driving to Hybridfest.

We can link you up with others from your area if you plan on going.

oop, missed this thread till Eric pointed it out to me. From up
here in Beantown, the GPS says 1100 miles, 19 hours. Thats a
fuggovalong way, but not as bad as doing Florida and back last
winter. Probably an hour or two less from NYC/LI. Probably a longer
time if you're trying to hypermile the whole way.

Anyone know of any gatherings in the South to accomodate Appalachian American Prius owners?

I haven't heard of any large gatherings in the South yet, but you could organize one. :)

In the meantime, if you are considering attending Hybridfest there are some hybrids coming from Nashville and Knoxville if you want to caravan up to Madison, WI together.

    Hi Danny,
I can't make it this year, how about a date for next year so I can schedule it in. Wouldn't this be a Natonal Prius Convention?
