NAPA POAT Asian Red coolant

    Hey guys, I just did head gasket on my 13 Prius three and having issues getting the HOAT coolant, I have some NAPA Asian vehicle POAT coolant, can I run this in just the engine? System is completely empty so mixing coolant isn’t a issue

    I know I should use toyota coolant but I’m a ways from the dealer.

    You can I use the Asian red stuff from advance Auto and other places in the inverter and in the radiator I've had over 80,000 miles with no trouble so far at least not from the coolant or anything related to it that I know of I'm driving a 13 persona Good luck

    Are you sure it's completely empty? There's usually a good bit of coolant in the heater core and hoses that doesn't get drained.

    That's why the replacement interval is shorter after the initial coolant drain and fill, because there's a mixture of old and new coolant.

    FWIW, I used the Asian red coolant from NAPA in both coolant loops in our 2011.
