Theory No. 1: Squid's boss bought a Prius and started checking out Priuschat. In five seconds he saw that Squid accounted for approximately half the posts in EVERY category and topic EVERY day. I warned against this happening - we've lost Squid to what his boss regards a more pressing priority: doing his job!

Theory No. 2: Angelia Jolie and Julia Roberts recently bought Priuses, began looking into Priuschat and were overwhelmed with romantic feelings for the prolific and urbane Squid, and he's spending his time now trying to work this sudden new romantic triangle to his best advantage.

Theory No. 3: Squid forgot to pay the electric bill.

Any bets on which theory is likeliest?

He disappeared about the time the Feds where doing the internet porn sting which netted quite a lot of people.....

for a guy in his late 30's who lives on myspace.com, uses young sexy avatars, and openly speaks of some pretty sick fetishes, I would not completely rule this out.

What's paranoid about my "theory No. 4"? Paranoia is when you think they're out to get you. I just suggested that Squid could be doing something very much in character by staying away for a few days just to see what we'd all say about his absence. Kind of a "lite" version of Tom Sawyers' funeral.

Well, he is still alive, for those of you who honestly care. He most recently logged into his myspace account just this morning. Guess he hasn't needed or been able to stop by PC lately though. I thought it was strangely quiet around here lately...

Regarding my posts: Just how do you think I should "be careful"???? Am I breaking any rules??? Am I offending anyone (particularly you)..... I say what is on my mind and don't pander to people's sensitive "feelings". That kinda treatment is what brings a lot of problems in this country.
