I picked my 2008 Prius on January 20th and the dealer filled the tank for me. I usually paid for my gas with a credit card but now I am on a quest. I want to see how long I can go without using my credit card. First, I took back a bunch of old cans I had bagged in the basement. That got me my second tank of gas. Next I raided my change jar and that got me my third tank. Now everytime I have any one dollar bills I stash them. Now I have enough for about two more tanks. This quest may seem fanatical but it is fun. I am now eying my wifes purse...
That's pretty funny! For my part: The gas station card was always in slot 1 of my wallet. Until I bought my Prius. Now it's in slot 2.
Hell, just rob one ATM machine. Should give you enough to the the Prius in gas for its lifetime. Bye-bye credit card.
This sounds like fun... until you touch your wifes purse of course! I have been racking my brain for a month trying to think of something fun like this... You may have just given me my quest!!
I went the other way. I use the Shell MasterCard for everything I can. 5% kickback at Shell and 1% everywhere else gives me a free tank every month.
