I just bought a 2003 Gen 1 Prius from person who bought it at a sheriff auction. It was pristine shape only 102,000 miles, Only bad thing wrong the hybrid computer with battery also had to replace the cable. I had the work done at the dealership me for the battery, computer and cable to last for 13 years was rare, Since the car was County vehicle the car excellent mechanical shape nothing else wrong with just bad timing. I though repair come a little later due age of the car. Price I paid for the car and repair I could not get a good used car in good of condition for under 8,000. Now that fixed I am getting maximum gas mileage. I drive 400 miles week- 80 miles a day going back and forth to work. I love my Prius I am in the car business and would give up my Prius I just bought.
