Picked up at 2019 Prius Prime (Advanced) 3 days ago and decided to start this journal like I did with my 2012 Prius 3. So far I've added a Kenu Airframe Pro to mount my cell phone, swapped my Prius Performance Plus edition 17" wheels and tires and disabled the very annoying reverse beeping. I do plan to tint the windows in the near future.

A few photos to start and will be updating this thread as things are changed.

Nice! Those wheels look so much better than stock.

100% agree. I wasn't going to buy the car if the wheels wouldn't have fit. I was also worried about how they would affect both mpg and all electric range, but to my surprise I don't notice any difference. What I do notice is the car feels much more planted on the road.

What baseline did you have to compare to if you just bought the car?

I just got our 2019 tinted earlier this month:

Turned out really well and does a great job of heat rejection (y).

Good question. In addition to the few hundred miles I had on the car before the wheel swap I was also driving a Prime around for the past week as a loaner. Liked the car so much I went looking for one!

Congrats! Very similar to my 2018 Advanced, just with black instead of moonstone.

Looks good, please take a few more outside pics when convenient.

Also in a week or two please give an update on your new tints performance.

After using my vent mount for the past 3 (summer) months I've decided that it isn't ideal as the phone blocks a good bit of air. With the car not having any rear vents that I'm aware of, I found that I kept my phone laying on the wireless charger most of the time and just using the built in navigation which is fine, but we all know the best navigation is from our phone. So I started looking into another way to mount without going to the windshield and came across this SCOSCHE magnetic dash mount. I placed it on the steering column cover making sure I had plenty of distance from the steering wheel and after some driving I really like it! Holds my iPhone 11 Pro Max in place very well. The phone is using the apple silicon cover and I have the thin included magnetic pad placed (not stuck with adhesive) between the case and the back of the phone.

Just had to replace my 12v battery at just 36,000mi. Seems a little soon but car is approaching 4 years old. Of course the battery died on a Sunday and NO Toyota parts are open so I checked with my local Lexus dealership and they had some. 84month warranty! Price was $225

Forgot to also update this thread with my phone mount that I installed back in April 2023. The mount is called Vicseed off Amazon. It works great! Does not block vents or any displays and is at the perfect eye level and just snaps into place allowing me to easily rotate it to either vertical or horizontal.

Just replaced the wimpy horns on my 2019 Prius Prime. Very easy install and plug and play. All that is needed is a 12mm socket. I found that placing the 500mhz one on the passenger side and the 400mhz one on the driver side worked out best. Didn't need to use anything included in the box except the horns.

Why did I wait so long to do this!? LOL
