Multimedia Technology discontinued for Prius 2016-2020, Android Auto

I got the letter from Toyota regarding that we lost technologies with the apps Entune App Suite, Scout GPS Link and Toyota App does not work correctly and fully with my Prius 2020 XLE

Thank you for contacting us about your 2020 Toyota Prius. We understand your frustration due to Scout GPS and Entune App Suite being discontinued. We appreciate the opportunity to provide assistance.


As technology and markets change, Toyota and third-party application providers continuously evolve their products and services. We apologize as we are not aware of any retrofit strategies or replacements at this time and compensation for loss of functionality is unavailable.


Please note that in late October 2023, the following third-party applications and services were sunset, which has impacted available services for select 2011-2024 Model Year Toyota vehicles.

· Toyota + Alexa

· Toyota Skill

· Scout GPS Link
